This is a public space created with the objective to build, recover and preserve the collective memory in order to participate in what rights violations Rights not happen again.
This park, which encompasses 14 acres of parkland on the banks of the river La Plata, was implemented in 2001 at the request of a committee composed of organizations of human right, and Great Mothers Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, the familiar and the missing members of the city government of Buenos Aires. The objective is to obtain a monument to honor the victims of state terrorism.

It hosts the Monument to the Victims of Terror state, formed by four stelae giving the form of a cut, an open wound on a lawn that ends up in river. Plaques on the graves contain the names of detainees-disappeared and murdered during the years that start from "the Cordobazo" (1969) until the end of military dictatorship (1983).
This monument is the first memorial dedicated to Argentina to honor victims of the worst years of the country. It represents the wound mark on the Argentine territory a pain that will always be present. The idea is to traverse it and reach the river that the full value of the symbol, because it is in these waters that victims been laid by the "death flights".
